I paint in opaque watercolor/gouache or oils.

As a symbolist, I make commentary on the human condition, homages to people and their various occupations and references to the history of art with the themes that have inspired artists over the ages.

How does the region influence your art?

My work is inspired by the colors of the southwestern landscape and I see myself as connected aesthetically to the Mexican Muralists.
